Mortal Kombat online not working!

Alright I've tried backing up my copy of Mortal Kombat: Deception. The games works fine, but when I try to log online with it it freezes up! Now I used the original DNAS code on the first back-up I made and I used my own DNAS code on the second back-up, neither worked. I've backed up 5 of my other online games and patched the DNAS codes and they work fine, Except for SOCOM III of course. I'm using DVDdecryptor to read and write and WinDip to patch. Does anyone else have this problem? or know what to do? Thanks.

What media are you using? Try using some 8x verbatim DVD-R and burning at 4x.

I ve done some searching and found others have had the same problem. Apparently theres a patch to fix this, called PFF DVDRick the web site ps2ownz.com that has it requires a IP based e-mail account to register which I don't have. Does anyone know where I can get this patch.

Well after hours of searching I never found this patch. I did learn from another After Dawn member that you can log on to ps2nfo with a Msn email account not Hotmail. So now I got it.

So wait a second..... Mortal Kombat Deception does not work online??? does anyone have one that works. cause ima try to get but i need to kno this.

I got the patch needed to get backups of MKD to work on line. I'm going to try it right now. I let you know if iot works.

Alright it works. The name of the patch is "mortal kombat deception dvdrick" If you want the patch you can either get it from ps2nfo or I can e-mail it to you. If you decide to get it through ps2nfo you will have to register. Only a ip based e-mail account will work not a free account such as yahoo. an msn account will work though, but it can't be hotmail. Then search for " mortal kombat deception dvdrick" exactly like I typed it here, make sure "search in ps2nfo" is checked below the search feild in ps2nfo.

Once you get the patch you will need to download pacth-o-matic to patch to your mkd iso. just yahoo it(ps2 patch o matic will find it)

You will also still need to patch a DNAS code as you normally woud as for the DVD rick patch only fixes the freeze up when mkd tries to connect.

ps2nfo, me or someoneelse who got it from ps2nfo are the only places I know of to get this patch.
