After I create a CD I get this really bad sound which usually starts on the second or thirsd song from the end. I am not sure how to describe the sound but at the song itself gets louder so does the bad sound. This is the same wheather I copy CD to CD or Mp3 to CD. Is it my CD writer, or maybe do I have old black cd-r's or is it something else?
1st, you have to tell us if the noise is "inside" the CD or the noise is created when playing the CD.
Does the noise sound exactly equal in all devices?
Have you tried to rip it? If it's ripped OK, then the problem is playing: you have to find CDRs (or burning speed) with more quality or more compatible with the player.
If you rip the CD and the noise is in the WAVs extracted(I doubt it), then the problem is the software doing something very strange...

PentIII 700Mhz PC running Windows 98, Nero Burning software, I have tried this at the slowest speed it offers (4x?) I think I had this problem when i was using EasyCDCreater so I don't think it Nero.
I am not sure what "Ripping it" means so I don't know how to answer that question.

Well, try the CD in several players included your CDROM and/or CDRW and you will probably see that the noise is only "created" by that player because it isn't able to read that CDR properly.
Probably, you can play that CD in the computer with no problem. Ripping is extracting the audio to WAV, DAE: digital audio extraction.
In Nero "Recorder" -> "Save Track" (to WAV) and hear it.
The key is making the CDRs you burn more readable by that player... maybe trying different burning speeds, but better changing media. Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim Azo are usually very compatible.
Had you tried another CDRs in that player before? (burned with another writer maybe...)
