Hi
I downloaded dbpoweramp10 and also flac codec. I coverted a wave file to flac (to save a little HD space)I then tried to open (play) the flac file in winamp, but it won't play. Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

You probably need to download a plugin for winamp. CHeck their official website.

Indeed, try getting the flac plugin for winamp,
or if that doesn't work, you can try the official flac download,
available here : http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html
