Swap Magic does not Boot!!!

I start up my PS2 with the swap magic disc in and it just goes to the configuration screen. Can anyone explain why. I have a slim PS2, 7000 Series and I just purchased Swap magic 3.6. Please help the Newbie.

Swap Magic is garbage. I bet most of the people who come on here talking about it are probably the people who sell them. If you can't afford a mod chip, put down the controller and get a job. But quit wasting time with swap magic.

What is wrong with using swap magic,2 posts now you have told people to get a job if they have not got a chip.
