I am looking at spending around $200.00 mabye $250.00 if it comes down to price and quality. I am running a AMD 3800+ athlon64 X2, ATI onboard X200, 1 Gig Ram, 1280 x 1024 @ 60htz, want to play Quake 4 at normal settings. I also ave DVI connections and would like to utilize it (if its wort it).

Now for the Questions.

1. If I get an ATI card will it work with my current onboard card or will I have to shut it off as usual?

2. Knowing I will more than likley have to disable the onboard what would be a better video card to go to?

3. Is there a big visual difference between DVI and analog at the moment?

1. It should work.

2. I would go DVI because in the future there may be more capabilites.

3. A little bit however in the future there will be a big difference so it's worth it.
