hey there...

For some times ago I bay'ed a cd and I ALLWAYS take backup of my cd's so I wanted to do with this one to.
The copy progress went fine but then i wanted to install it.
Where i hat to put in the serial nr it wont accept it on my backup cd but on the original it acceptet fine.
I don't know how they copy protectet it, but I think its a reel good way so why do microsoft not use this method? I don't know how to take backup of my cd... So can any one tell me how to do?
