hi
i have a archos gmini 400
i need to know what program i need to convert videos for the archos ?
and if are any program to comvert dvd movies to the archos

Hello,
I would use GordianKnot
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/gord...
with the XviD codec.
But some folks have trouble encoding compliant AVIs, and prefer DivX codec...
I haven't used DivX since v/5.1, so can't really say :^)
But you must learn the specific requirements of your Archos device, and keep them in mind when configuring your codec settings.
