my 360 cracked one of my games so i phoned ms and thay said i would have to contact the develeper to get thewm to replace it.
are ms lieing or have i really got to contact the develeper

I am pretty sure that you have actually contacted the developer. I also dont believe that they would lie to you.

MS subliminialy lies to you everday, but I too would have to believe that they would outright lie to you on the phone over a support issue. Their lies are usually covered and hidden within a multi-million dollar marketing scheme.
