hey guys i just got nero 7 ultimate the other day and i want to use it to burn anime so me and my g.f could watch em on our tv instead of watching it on a small pc screen. so i tried burnin bleach and i used everything on automatic exept that i wanted to put more eps on one dvd so i put it to extended play. other then that everything is on automatic the dvd finished burning everything looked fine but when i put it in the player some of the subs got cut off. on her tv it isnt that bad just annoying but on mine you cant even see the subs there cut like in half is there any way to fix this?

any help would make me happy also sorry for the run on sentences and stuff

I also enjoy getting Anime to my Panasonic Widescreen TV rather than watching it on 19" monitor. lol
Personally I just do data DVDs as my stand alone DVD Recorder plays avi/divX etc.

Gonna need a little more info on what exactly your process was , you've given no details as to if you have ripped a DVD & just wanna back it up .. or if they were downloaded files (because if the latter then it might be that in the encoding ... the 'encoder' made the output as full screen instead of widescreen)

Give us some more detailed info & hopefully you should be well on your way

oh the files were downloaded and i used the neros encoder but the thing is niether of us have wide screens so if it made it full screen it would of looked fine. i have a full screen 32inch hd and she has a 27inch but on her tv the subs pot out more its watchable but annoying on my tv there completly cut i would have to guess what there saying by reading the top half of the words. every thing was set to normal i pritty much let Nero do its thing i didnt even change it to extended play my self Nero did it for me when i added another ep and it didnt fit

If I was you , would contemplate encoding again ... but as 16:9 instead ;-)
