I use limewire and i am on a 1 meg connection which usually gets me to download at 90-120kbs but i have just been downloading and for about 30 seconds got 270kbs and it went from 2 and a half hours to 31 minutes but then it went down to 60kbs but only 4 hosts through that is there a way to keep it like that or was it just weird lol

i would really appreciate help with this thanks :)

it is that high in the begining then realizes connection then goes down to 120 as you state. and try the one at the top with many hosts should go ffffaaaasssssssttttttt i would recomend frostwire tho .......

As long grab the link with the most hosts you should have no problem keeping your speed up as toyotaman said. Also something you should do is go into the options of limewire and boost the number of total connections that the prog will allow.

@toyotaman: I've read five posts by you saying to use frostfire. You may be there number one spokesman. Good for you

it is not at the beginning of my download this was during about the middle of the file why is frostwaire so good?

and how do i change how many people it connects to?

the maximum i have ever connected to is 10 and i have been told that is to many lol :)
