I currently have a P4 3.0 Ghz with 256MB (ram)

but I recently had problems with my motherboard It?s

Pentium 4 Intel Desktop Motherboard - 800MHZ Socket 478

Model # (E210882) I want to purchased a better board than the

one I currently have?I just want put all my old parts in the new

motherboard?I went o Fry?s Electronics to try to find a board

but they told me that they don?t? carry any 478 socket boards

because it was discontinue?can you guys help me out on finding a

newer motherbard and where to get it online...

you could get a socket 755 board they support intel 4

do you mean a 775 board?

My CPU has diffent pins in the bottom

and i don't think it will fit...

I don't know if the s478 boards have been discontinued or not but they are still available. You can try these two links http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp... and http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=ENE&N=201020... there seems to be quite a selection . If you need any further assistance just ask.
