hey all,

I'm gettin frustrated with some backups i've done in the last while.

Both Grandia 3 and Devil May Cry 3 SE i've had trouble with.

I burn them, using NERO, Sony DVD-R's, at 16x, and a Mod-chip

When they begin to load though, they hang up, go to the browser screen for a sec, and then the red screen comes up (please insert...yada yada)
Sometimes it will make it past the B+W "Playstation 2" screen, but it will hang up right after that.

Any idea what i'm doing wrong, and what i could do to make it right??

Try some quality 4x or 8x media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. 16x media has been known to give the PS2 laser some issues.
