im trying to hook up my 360 to my media center pc but im having a few problems setting it up i get half up into the set up when i click on the media center button on my 360 it starts to load but then it cums up with on my tv a warning sayying session terminated another user or application on the windows media center based pc has disconnected this device.
now when i try to finish installing my 360 to my pc and it gets to network performance test and it fails and it says unable to measure network performace.
it is possable that media center extender disconnected due to a network problem?
plz help i just cant work it out plz plz plz plz help

could be a firewall problem. do you you have a firewall running on your pc? there are workarounds but we neeed more info.

I had the same problem and fixed it by tweaking my firewall settings.
