HI,

Basically I want to store all my audio cds on Itunes, but I'm not sure of which format is best to store them in!

I need to store alot so space is also a factor as well as good quality.

I have 250gigs HD

What is the difference between

MP3

MP4

AAC

in terms of quality and file size?

What is the standard size of an mp3, most of mine seem to be about 2 to 4 mbs?

Also does Ipod store files as mp3 or 4?

Thanks in advance

The standard mp3 file size depends on the birate (quality) size. The higher the birate the better the quality, but the larger the file size. A 5 min. song at 320kbs (birate) is about 8-9 mbs.

The ipod takes mp3 and mp4 or m4a
