do you think the xbox360 will have different versions like the orginal xbox?
am i going to have to run to ***ewww**** walmart last minute to buy the last version 1.0 xbox360 just because i dont want to wait for them to find a hack for verion 1.1........?
I NEED TO FIND THE BEST HDTV under $650
23-32 inches at least
i could go as small as a 19inch but i'll pay 300-350 max for that

I think that there's only a one version so far. But there are going to be new ones. Dashboard is updated all the time though, last time at march the 2nd. I don't know how to make difference between versions, since there is only one out there.

They won't change anything that critical, like add memory or something like that. They just might use different components to get the same effect.

probably in an year or so mic**oft will change the xbox360 so bluray will be compatible so i plan on getting one when im satisfied that xbox360s have no problems,(like over heat), but im pretty sure that it will be a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time before blue ray is on the 360. so i will wait for halo 3 to come out then i will buy me self a 360 premium, 3 wirless controller(i get 1more with the premium), xboxlive gold unlimited(they will probably release this but if they dont i will get the 12 month card), 5 of the best games that will be released then (halo 3 is a must), a HD projector, 7.1" hometheater, and wirless headphone(when released), 360 video cam(when released,3 collest faceplates(which release with halo3),.
so that is my plan when halo 3 releases.
so what you guys think about that?
oh and i DO have the money like $10000 to spend on entertainment at the end of the year or sometime spring nxt year

yes there are already two different versions
on core systems microsoft changed the onboard flash bios rom chip that stores the xbox 360's dashboard
and on premiums they used the regular flsh rom the differrence is the chip is smaller then the other one

I dont think they will cause to do that they would need to purchasr the licensing to use it from Sony wouldnt they? That means they would be giving sony money in the first place, and if sony thinks that the Blu-ray tech will give a big advantage to the 360 they wont give it to em, unless they dont need licensing, if microsoft is smart they will wsait to see how consumers to take to HD DVD and Blu-ray and then choose which one they want to integrate IF they are going to add any of those.

you must be kidding? lol 360 JUST came out and your already asking what the next one will be like? Anywayas microsoft isnt going to put in anything its in a interview on ign.com look for it ill ry and find hte link. They said that it would be stupid to make a whole new 360 with the add on and have to jack up the price, and it would unfair to those users who were fine without the HD drive and they said that making ANOTHER version of the console where you could choose if you wanted the drive included or not would be impossible with them alreayd ha ving two versions out with the premium and the core. They DID say that they are making an external HD dvd drive that you can buy seperatly later on in the year.
