VERY Strange and Annoying Problem..FNR3

Wow, Been encountering trouble with alot of stuff lately. Well heres the deal. So I successfully burned FNRd3, but when I go to the main menu its seems like the system is pressing down on the direction buttons. The cursors keep going up and down without me pressing anything. I thought it was the analog control so I unplugged it, and it still rapidly moved up and down. I noticed that on Fight Night Rd 2 I also encounter this problem. Both retails and back-up discs had trouble for both game. Anyone have an idea why this is happening? Could it be the system (has no trouble with any other game)? Thanks, this is really annoying.

WOW, Strangest crap happen. So I unplugged the PS2 and blew on the dust/dirt/etc shook it a lil (lol not rough) put Fight Night 3 and it works fine. WTF?????? But this stuff still occur alot, I remember same problem happen couple months ago n it went away. Anyone know exactly what happened?..strange
