I have installed the softmod about a year ago and everything worked fine so far. Recently though every time I turn on the system it goes directly to Xbox live screen and hangs there. No games boot up, no dashboard boots up, nothing at all just the Xbox Live Update screen. Any ideas? thanks in advance...

ok the first thing u do is unistall the modded xbox incase u dont know u go to the dashboard that says create ms dashboard, intall softmod...etc. then click restore ms dashboard after that start up halo 2 and click register new account (dont actually make a new one ) and then it should update xbox live...i had the same problem
