i have a movie with bad picture i was wondering if theres a program i can use to clean up the picture make it look better.

what format is your movie AVI, mpg or what

theres one in dvd format .VOB etc. and one in AVI.

if its noise you can denoise.
if its blocky you can deblock.
if it lack of detail. you're stuck. the best you can do is shasrpen a little.

all of this can be done with avisynth. or VirtualDub.

yea well its not noise its picture, its kind of blurry i now theres no way to make it better but i was wondering if i can clean it up make it less blurry

Don't know if I'm headed towards the right forum or not !!Had this problem once befrore but can't remember what to do...Anyway..no matter what program I use to try to convert video frm one type to the other,my computer crashes about 15% into it.And I meen any program
PAL to NTSC,AVI to DVD,DVD to AVI..it don't matter I crash..Direct me to the right forum..or just give me a leading hand.Any help would be appreciated..THANKS
