Well I didn't see any other forum where it would be appropriate to ask this question, so I hope it's ok to ask these questions here.

Now, I've successfully used AVI2DVD to encode {where Nero Vision always failed - the sound was always out of sync}, but after doing this and burning, on looking at the disc, I noticed only a small fraction of it was actually used.

So my question is, how would I encode multiple AVI's so that more of the disc is used? I'm guessing I could fit at least four or five onto one disc. I know that {from the guide here} that if the files are named video1, video2, video3, etc. AVI2DVD will use load them all in for encoding. Will make all the episodes into one big episode, or will they still be separate episodes? If not the latter, how can this be done?

I found an incredible program once, but it took a bit of time for me to learn how to use it. "Sonic MyDVD" is it's name, it's a DVD authoring program. As far as I know, you can load in as many AVI/WMV/MPEG as will fit, make a menu, and keep your episodes seperate. See if you can find the program somewhere.
Hope I have helped.

I can do that with Nero. The problem with Nero though is it does a bad encode. The sound always eventually goes out of sync. AVI2DVD did a perfect encode.

The sound goes out-of-sync if the sound were encoded MP3 VBR instead of MP3 CBR, not doe for the usage of a bad encoder. Read the FAQ to learn how to detect and fix this.
