How can I convert some of my home movies on CDs to DVD format?

Any help shall be highly appreciated.

Hi again,

The home movies are in the VCD/ mpeg format, on a CD media.

How could I burn them on to a DVD, having a DVD quality audio & video?

What softwares do I need?

Could some one please care to explain these as am newbie & new to the forums?


PS: Did I make a post in the wrong scetion?

If YES than could the moderator transfer it to the appropriate section.
