hey guys i read a few stickies and found them really helpful.

i tried using different clients (utorrent, azurues, bitlord) and port numbers but to no avail, my dl speed won't exceed 5kb but my upload speed was around 15kb.

i haven't port forwarded because i don't a have router. just a cable modem so i am directly connected to the net, does it need to be port forwarded as well?

i am not behind any firewall.

the port i tried using were open acorrding to shield up but when i did a NAT test here

it failed. i am really stumped.

one more thing while trying to dl torrents, my internet connection became sloooooow, i mean slower than dial-up. it took 20 seconds to just open google.

any solutions guys?

btw, my connection speed is 1mb, i ran a speed test it said 952 dl speed and 100 upload speed.

If you are using XP SP2, try the EvID4226 Patch...
