I am using Ridata 8x dvd-r G04 to burn my backup with dvd decrypter burning at a 1x speed. Am i burning this media to slow? I have alot of backup games that work very good using this method and dont have problems with video and audio on cut sceens with them; but recently I tried to backup the new ratchet and clank deadlock and digital devil saga and both skip like crazy or do a slow stutter through the video cut screens.

try burning at 4x instead of 8x.

also cleaning the laser might help.
