Copying Region 2 DVD

I noticed DVDShrink let you remove REC protection so I thought I could copy a Region 2 dvd, but my DVD RW cannot read the file. Is there anything I can do? Code to download?

I've downloaded DVD Region Free. There is not help file for it. It says it should be working in the background. It recognises my Region 1 DVDs but not the Region 2. Any suggestions?

I've also tried DVD Ghost but it will not recognize the PAL R2 DVD.

I've read the other conversions to PAL questions and they have not helped. I'm stuck at the recognizing the DVD stage.

What is the make and model of your DVD drive? Also, what error message does DVD Shrink give when it tries to read the R2 DVD?

DVD43 and AnyDVD are good apps for making your drive region free.
