So i have just started trying to back up some of my ps2 games and i get this message when i put the game in and get readt to hit the decrypt button on dvd decrypter.

Sonic DLA
Your version of DLA can read files on this disc but will not be able to edit or add to them.

I have no idea if this message is a problem or what it even means. any help would be greatly appreicated. i tried to back up GTA San Andreas, but the ps2 said to insert a play or playstation 2 formatted disc, so if anyone has any knowledge of how to help i would be alot of help. thanks.

Is the sonic dla ur trying to copy original? If so you shouldn't get that message and for gta san andreas use alcohol 120%.

Also, you do know that you have to mod your PS2 to play back ups, right?

the ps2 mod is the problem it is not moded this might be a bad question but how would i go about doing that? as for the burning the games part i bought a new burner and when i use it to copy the games the message does not come up so i think that might of solved that problem. thx
