I have an mdf and mds file of La Pucelle: Tactics (PAL) and it works with my Swap Magic 3 when I run it in NTSC mode, but it does not center the image, so part of it gets cut off the bottom. I browsed some of the forums and tried the PAL2NTSC+Y fix, but it only works with BIN and ISO files. So I had to convert the mdf file to an ISO to patch it.
However, when I burned it it wouldn't work. Swap Magic loads the game, but all I get is a black screen. I think part of the problem is when I convert the file to an ISO, but I'm not sure. I have also tried reading an ISO image from a burned copy of the game.
I also checked the option to have the menu pop up after loading the game. That screen loads fine, but after I choose an option I just get a black screen again.
Is there a PAL to NTSC patch that will work with an mdf or mds, or is there another way to shift the screen up so it doesnt get cropped on the bottom?
