I've ripped a couple of DVD's a few months ago but sem to have problems now. I seem to be only getting video TS files out of Mac The Ripper and I'm not sure I remember how to import files into Toast Titanium. Thanks!

A playable video file is recognised as such when it has both a VIDEO TS_ and AUDIO TS_ component. Actually, the AUDIO file is empty - the audio is muxed in with the VIDEO file. MacThe Ripper only outputs the VIDEO file, but just create a new file from the Finder, name it AUDIO-TS, and put both in a new folder together.
Depending on the disc you've ripped, the file will be too long (over 4.3GB) to fit on a disc. You will need to compress if you intend burning. What version of Toast have you? Toast 7 has fit-to-disc compression but I don't think the quality is as good as I get with DVD2OneX (available by download). How you then burn depends on the version of Toast you have.

Thanks. The movie is under 4.3 gigs so I'm OK. I have Toast 6. How do I burn the DVD? What settings?

choose Video from the Data/Audio/Video/Copy menu. a panel opens on the left. Right at the top, choose Advanced and more options appear.
Choose "DVD Video from Video_TS". Choose either NTSC or PAL (I'm in the UK). Make sure High is chosen under Video quality. Then check only Create DVD Menu .
Then click the Red Button on the lower right side and come back in half an hour!
