Im new at this and wondering if there is any freeware, user friendly dvd to mpeg converters out hear.

Thanks again Philraz.

I converted a file with DrDivX. Excellent video but no sound. I know it has to convert sound as well. Does this program let you choose, lets say a 5min. clip somewheres deep into a movie?

I dont want to be able to convert the entire movie. Just clips.
