no u dont even need to take out the motherboard for the 2.6 solderless i just did it u can put the furrows in with the motherboard in just use some tweezers the D0 wire can be kind of a bi%^& but u can get it to work pm me and i will send u the best tutorial for putting in the solderless 2.6
