So yeah...I heard a hundred times that NBA 2K6 is a bit better...but the graphics on 2K6 look pretty weak (along with the rest of the 2K games.)

Has anyone played NBA Live 2006?? I know the graphics look amazing, but what exactly is not to like about this game?? I'm not really concerned with the lack of certain bells & whistles that previous versions (on PS2 and XBox) had, but more interested in playing a good, realistic b-ball game...in season mode, and against some of video gaming friends.

If you want a basketball game this year, get 2K6. Personally, I'd wait for Live 07. This year, Live has good core features, but it's lacking so many options that it won't last you long. Next year, when it gets deeper and a bit smoother playing, it will be the game to get.

Live is like the NBA version of Madden on 360 this year. Pretty with decent gameplay with faults and and few extras. The only reason you don't hear people bitching so much about it is because they can play the superior NBA 2K6. With football it's Madden or nothing.

Nope...2K6 is better. I have played them both now, and NBA Live doesn't even compare to 2K6.
