ive got an xvid movie that is 864x368 and im realy havin trouble coverting it into an mpeg for dvd use.
ive tried mainconcept encoder but it leaves the movie with silent sound gaps and ive also tried dvdsanta but this comes up with an error saying video strem not recognised.
ive converted many movies before but cant seem to do this one.
i think its the first one ive had that is 864x368.

Weird, it sounds likes theres something wrong other than just the wierd size but it might be worth giving DivX2DVD (now called Convert2DVD) a go.

They used to do a free version you can download here

http://freedownload.softonic.de/windows/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_0.52.99.exe

Or the current version (trial) from here

http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/

Or if that fails Tmepgenc Xpress is a good one, but it's not free.

hi

hi

as mentioned ConvertXtoDVD will go AVI to dvd files ready to burn, will also add chapters on auto and add a menu link and you can edit the link and add/change a background picture, oh and yes to subtitles too...

Nothing here to see, move along folks.
