A friend of mine gave me her old cell phone and it is a samsung x426 and i was wondering if i was able to unlock it and use it for myself? It is a Rogers phone. If it can be unlocked what do I do next? Do I have to activate it under a new provider, I would like to use Aliant, but we also have Telus. I read something about a sim card, how does that work? I'm sorry I'm new to this and would like to use this cell phone, but I'm not sure I can? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
