Why are most backups for DL PAL?

Most namely 24, but most backups I see on the torrent sites are PAL only, and not NTSC. Not that it's a major deal, but converting it doesn't look as nice on an NTSC TV set as native NTSC would. I'm just sort of puzzled as to why PAL backups dominate...

I think it would depend largely on what site you go to...

But this question really should be in the general discussion forum I would think.. no matter though I guess.

A lot our in PAL because in other countries where they have PAL discs. Copy righting and making illegal copies is not illegal there like in the usa. We use NTSC so theres less of it because its illegal here if you dont own the original. Its not illegal in canada and they still use NTSC so a lot come from there to.



In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure piracy is illegal everywhere, except in third world countries where there's no stable government to enforce it.
