I looked around the forums and coudn't find thsi answer. I use swap magic 3.6. I want to download a PS2 game that is in PAL format. When I burn the game onto the DVD will I need to do anything before that? Like is PAL2NTSC or can I just simply burn the ISO and select PAL on the SM? Thanks in advance. Also if someone can point me in the righ direction for finding a guide on how to backup ps2 games that i download that are full of .rar files? Thanks again

Ardee, I to use swapmagic and all you have to do is burn the game like you would a normal game and load up the swapmagic and when it does just change the video mode to NTSC and push the square button not X button to load the game.

Try that first. If that doesn't work you'll need to patch the game to NTSC. Swap Magic's video mode is iffy, sometimes the game will appear in black and work, or still be off center.

37. Q. I downloaded a PAL game, how do I convert it to NTSC?
A. Use Adrenaline patcher if it's an EA game: http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_utils_files.shtml#ADRenalin%20Patcher Note: I've been told this works for non EA games as well. The screen won't be perfectly centered, unless you have a modchip that forces video mode.
