My son got into mods and the "AR- MAX" his system was fine until he plugged in the AR live now the machine flashes red sometimes red/green it plays the games still no live games and no options it seems hard drive is dead but I know it's not apparently the ar-max shut him down I just want this to all go away and start over with him to realize he has to respect this. I need help I know computers but not XBOX'S I can't even find a drive letter for the hard drive when put into my helper station to fix other peoples comp's I get nothing! Thank's for any reply Dave

So what exactly was on the AR-MAX and what do you mean he pluged it in

so with no game in the xbox u get an error message and the led flashed red and green tell me what number u get when this error message comes up it should be in the top left of the xbox

no number just a black screen green letters. My son deleted everything including dashboard. I have no idea. I just cant play just get the red and green flashing light requires service with no nunbers on that screen.

no not modded. but my son got action replay and downloaded cheats from the net and put it onto the xbox unleashed x linux and other thing was on the xbox and it wasnt working xbox live wasnt working dashboard was all in french. I don't know.

Yea linux is an form of an OS that you so you can load a dashboard.....for modding....The service screen which should have a little number in the left hand side of the screen is your error number you might not of seen it.....your son probubly didn't back up the original dashboard and didn't load the modded dash so when he turned off his xbox he had no dash wich leads to the error code

but their is no error code. i know what the codes look like ive seen them on llamma.com. i took the the hard drive out of the xbox and put it in the coumputer but the computer cant find the drive. I dont know what to do.
