i just want to know how everyone who's had to send their 360's in to microsoft for repair....did you get good customer service, how long did it take to get your console back, and how are your consoles working now?
lets see took them a day to send me my overnight box, and then i sent it in, it took 3 to get a unit back (new unit and hdd) only problem i had was the fact they used DHL (hard to find a drop out here) but other then that, it wasn't a bad experience (customer service wise) and my console is working fine to this day (no freezes or lag[in game, not on live] or skips) i've had mine back now for 5 months.
well, im having problems with mine....it starts freezing on me just a few minutes into gameplay...i've already called microsoft and everything, but dumb ol' me....i forgot to ask....after they send you the box to return it in, do you just send in the console itself, or do they need the power cord, etc.??? sure sucks, but, at least they're taking care of me.
I would send just their console. Before they use to send the box with this slip that said send just the console itself, no accessories. If you arent sure look at the box they sent u, is it even big enough to put anything else in. The one they sent me just barely fit the console itself. I even took off hdd b4 sending in, as a result of their error they sent me a new console with a hdd so now i have 2. No complaints here :) Everything is working fine, ive had mine back for 3-4 months already.
the box i recieved had specific instructions to include the HDAV cables and the Power brick and cord, aswell as my HDD.
but there's instructions in the box on how to package and seal the unit for shipping so i wouldn't worry about forgetting to ask them, if they've changed it, they'll let u know in the instructions.
