Does anyone know how to get this running? I tried the usual "expand autoexe.nt and command.com etc etc", but its still not working. It goes to menu, but cannot get ingame.

Does the game install ok and just doesnt run? Or will it not install?

I can think of a quick solution, which doesn't involve replacing your .exe file with a NOCD version.

Download the steam client, install it and enter your HL1 key, it will see what you are entitled to and let you download the game and play it....done!!

If you can install the game, do that first and then install steam, as it will see you have it installed and will not have to download it.

Hope this helps.

Only other thing to do is open a support ticket on steams site ot try their forums.
