I bought mine in december the 2nd, and no crashes so far. Just keep it in a ventilated space. I was visiting a local supermarket yesterday, and at least they had 360 in stock.

thats funny but yeah true, just do what others did, put it in a cool place....also, buy the ones that come out now...i think they're okay. so far mine is running okay..i got mine this month.
oh yeah forgot...if you like having your xbox standing up then, you should buy a cooling stand found at gamestop.com or some other sites, unless you want to mod the thing, which im already doing ;p
