HELP. I have got to the end of the long corridor in reptiles lair but don't know what i have to do with the big reptile/snake that comes in and out of the walls. I broke the pillar but can't jump around the corners to get any higher on the platforms. It's driving me mad..please help

once you brake the pillar you can jump on the pile and then jump on the platforms. its a little tricky, at first i didnt know what the hell to do next either. also, make sure you have the long jump cuz u need it.
