Which would be faster?
AMD sempron that is 2.0 ghz
or
Celeron D 3.06 ghz....because i heard that AMD is faster even though the ghz is lower

it depends what it is if it is 3000+ then it will run about the same speed if it is less than that then it will run slightly slower, but as an amd man i would always go for an amd lol.
Also depends what ur going to be doing with it ie games, graphics ect.

It's an AMD Sempron 3300+ 2.0 ghz ....What ghz would it be if it was intel.....?

the equilivent of 3.3 ghz intel speed, but isnt hte D on the cleron mean dual core?

That is what i thought ...but when i look at tigerdirect.com they have one section and it's Celeron D, they don't have anything other than Celron D...........So i think it means Duron

must be pentium D that are dual, i would go for the Sempron if i was u mate, but i am an amd "puppet" lol.

why wouldnt i go for the celron, theres nothing wrong with them, i just would go amd lol. Also just a thought is that Sempron a socket 754 processor or a socket 939 processor?

Are u sure? i thought the maximum socket A was 3200+???, have u got a link so i can check it out?, no offense but i dont trust websites lol, i thought the sempron 3300+ should be socket 754 or 939.

buy it. Simple as that, its agreat price. Even tho im sure it will come with a Sempron 3000+. go here and type in the Sempron 3300+, it will come up with only avaible in 754, which is y i think it will be 3000+, cuz that the max Sempron in socket A http://www.amdcompare.com/us-en/desktop/default.aspx

Yea for that price i dont really think that you can go wrong. Even if it does come in wiht a 3000+ sempron it wont be a disater. Good luck keep me posted, do u no how annoying it is wen the problem/advice get headed and u dont hear another word!!
