hey ive run into trouble ive got gta san andreas but every time i back it up it wont work proply or will work then a little bit on in the game it says un able to read disc

how can i get it to work i use verbatims dvd-r and burn at a slow speed (set dvd decrypter to 1X but auctually burns at 4X )

is there something else i need to do to make it work oh yeah the origanal is not scratched so no probs there help would be really nice i did some research myself and could not find conclusive answers so if i missed any thing dont flame me i did look

a big thanks in advance to some one with the know how

1-8x discs can only burn at 4x 6x and 8x

1-4x can burn at 2.4x and 4x but most dvd manufactures have stopped using 1-4x because people want faster burning speeds.

Burn at half the maximum speed of those Verbatims (I use 8x Verbatims and burn at 4x and I have backed up 75+ PS2 games flawlessly)

ok i just found somethin in another forum some one said that games like san andreas and need for speed underground that have constant disc readin should be burnt a little faster his name was toljkin or somethin so im gunna try that plus a rebuild plus a DVD+R disc

This is a constant disc access game so you may want to try 4x or 8x. Verb's should work fine they're excellent media. If that doesn't work, then worry about trying DVD+R's.

just tried at 8x works great so far have gotten past parts where it f#$@s up works great oh and when it worked before it was clickin real bad now it does it normaly like with the origanal so thanks people if i have any more probs with this ill post here again but looks like every thing is great
btw if any one wants to know rebuild didnt work so dont try it for this game
