Having trouble ripping Killzone...

I'm trying to rip Killzone at a friend's house but whenever we put it in the DVD drive, it won't even detect it as a viable disc (in Windows Explorer or DVD Decrypter). Is there some special procedure I need to do to rip this game?

i had no problem backing up this game. check that the games is clean & scratch free, if it is clean, it may be a bad press, try another original if you can exchange it.
