Hi. I have just been getting involved with backing up my DVD's and the quality that I am getting back is horrible. It freezes ALL the time during playback for every movie I have burned thus far. I use DVD Shrink 3.2 and Decrypter. I've read those work the best for being free. Does the DVD Burner have something to do with it? Do the brand of DVD discs I use create any problems?

I appreciate all your help,
Matt

It could possible be bad media but i burn at 2x so that couldnt be. I have backed up about 6 movies now and what I dont understand is that when I use my DVD player to watch them it skips but as I watch it on my computer it doesnt. It is even better to watch them on my xbox. I use maxell and memorez DVD's....any further help, new programs, new DVD's...anything would help because I cant figure it out and it has been bothering me

I guess where I live they must be better, like I said I've burnt over 100 on Imation and not 1 is bad, If you live in NC, I'll give you my home address and you can see for yourself, but I will say verbatim is really good too and Fuji if you can afford it....
