I have read months worth of postings and now very confused about buying this TV. I'm coming from the most expensive TV I've every purchased being $250 for a 25" to now wanting a 42" LCD for $1999. I'm feeling the pressure because of the $500 off offer from Costco---. So I am wondering who of you took the plunge and ordered it or did you all decide to wait? The article about 1080P Time for a Reality Check is scaring me.

I ordered one. Since you can return it at any time what have you got to lose? I already had a sony 50" rear projection set. I took it back because it was like looking at the TV through a screen door. Why would I pay over $2000 dollars for that!
My order page said it will take like 20 days for delivery, So I guess I have awhile before I can get my hands on it.
