Well i used Maxell Dvd-R to back up my games. They worked fine with my Swap Disk3 but once i got a mod chip inside they no longer work. I used AnyDVD and Alcohol 120% to copy them. I didnt configure the settings when copying them cause they seem to work fine.

I have Nero too. Would i be able to convert those mdf files to iso's so i can use nero to copy them...would that fix my issue?

Not sure why they would stop working. I used Swap Magic with a fliptop on my old V7 and when i got the new V12 with DMS4 Pro they all still worked fine. If it is a good copy, it is a good copy.
I did them all with DVD Decrypter.
I am not sure the file type is your problem. If the MDF is anything like an MDS file then you are burning the ISO.
But you can try a different program that creates ISO's like Nero or DVD Decrypter and see if it works.
Do any of your back ups work? If not it may be the chip that is causing the problem.

P.S. AnyDVD is for movies not for games. It is to remove copy rights and regions.

Well Alcohol makes mdf and mds files. Would i be able to put them in the virtual drive, use DVD Decrypter then burn them to a dvd?

I dont think its the chip, i have a Verbatim Action Replay Max EVO that works fine.

I am doing a test to see if i can use the virtual drive with Alchol 120% to redownload them so to speak to see if that will work, hate to ahve to get those games again.

if its a PS2 game, i dont think u need to even mount it. u only need to mount PC files. if its PS2. if its mdf and mds just use alcohol to burn it to a DVD. and i'm not sure is Maxell is the best media. but dont take that last sentence too seriously, i don't know.

PS2 w/ Swap Magic 3.6 and Slide Card, Gamecube w/ Xeno Modchip, PSP 3.71 M33, xbox 360 unmodded

I posted in the other thread where to find Taiyo Yudens online and locally. Check there. Ridata's aren't even close to Taiyo Yuden. Verbatim's, Taiyo Yuden's, and High Grade MIJ Maxell's are the only media you should trust with the PS2.
