do you mean psx as in the one in japan that cost like $800 and plays ps2 games? or do u mean the ps1?

If it's ps1, just burn it to a cd. Oh I use Nero and it works for pretty much everything. Encoding vids for my ipod, makind data disc, mounting images, copying cds and a lot of other stuff too.

what program are you using to burn it? You don't actually drag the iso file onto your cd drive with windows explorer. Files like .iso .img .dmg(for mac's i think) .nrg and all the other formats aren't burn like that.

no I wouldnt do that, i use Alcohol 120 for burning discs and for converting IMG/BIN/CUE to ISO's i use winISO ,cause you see i Downloaded a game a PSX game and extracted it afterwards then i have i a ePSXe emulator to run the game to see if it works but im tired of fixing the graphics for the emulator and i gave up playing on the emulator, the game seems to crash some textures while playing the game because the graphics plugins for the emulator is not the best i should say, so something came up with my mind, what if i burn the PSX game then play it on a PS2 console cause i heard you can play PSX games in PS2, okay let's say that i have a game a IMG file and .cue .sub .ccd files, i actually use the IMG file only to run the game for emulator, so the question is, should i burn the IMG only without the extra files?? such as cue/sub/ccd cause i think that IMG file is the only thing needed to run the whole game, or convert it to ISO first before burning?? and play, oh i really need a guide on this one i hope you could help me out, advanced thanks

alright the game is final fantasy 7 NTSC-U.IMG <<<image file and theres three of them the Disc 1 which is that one and the other two discs and also the same file IMG, oh and you are asking what are the actual files in it right?? it has a .IMG .SUB .CCD .CUE thats all, and i read about swapmagic which allows you to play Backups with no hassle thats all i know i was thinking if i will burn the file as an ISO and run it in the swapmagic, will it work?? but i havent tried it yet seems impossible cause backup games has more lot of stuff than IMG CUE SUB CCD, oh its a PSX game right?? and i did the exploit install thing but there seems to be a problem when i run it, actually i do a test run on a emulator so that i would know it would work on my PS2, an error message comes up when i run the exploit install something about a TITLE.DB file it seems to be that it can only run in a memorycard the one you have to use a USB or sumthing like that what should i do??

alright swap magic only works on PS2 games. As for burning in Alcohol, chose image burning wizard and select the largest file (mb's). And from what you said, I recomend buying Swap Magic and FFVII they're both really worth it.

ok i gave up on FF7, its impossible i should stick with ps2 games, ok i have a question again i downloaded a action replay max evo on ps2 and burned it on a DVD-R the only thing i did is use a DVD-Decrypter and burned the ISO file and viola!, it worked on my ps2, ok my question is, if i was to burn another game but it has a small file size for example 158 mb for a game and its a ps2 game oh by the way its a marvel vs capcom 2 game, i was thinking to burn it on a CD-R only not DVD-R cause i would be wasting a DVD-R for only a 158 mb file in to a 4.00 GB free space left on the DVD, so i decided to burn it on a CD-R but it doesnt work on my ps2, now what i fear is this, if i would burn it again and this time in a DVD-R, then what if the same problem occurs, like it doesnt read the game?? oh and i tried it to run it in PS2 emulator and it doesnt work as well, what seems to be the problem here?? is the game?? or the CD-R or what?? thanks for answering the questions before i really appreciate it.

158mb? that's small I have the original and I backed it up once, I'm sure it's bigger. What is your method of loading games? Swap magic, knife, modchip? I backed it up and it works perfectly with swap magic 3.3. Also the original is a CD so if it doesn't work you either need a modchip because it's probably a rip or something. Also check your PM inbox.
