I just downloaded Black it's PAL I'm useing Swap Magic 3.3 and was wondering do I need to NSTC patch or does it auto adjust itself that's what people where saying around here

Yeah it has a 50/60hz selector so just pick 60hz.

I've been told this game produces a double image effect when patched to NTSC. It's all good that it has a PAL/NTSC selector. You pick 50hz for NTSC or 60hz for PAL, whatever your TV supports. The only problem is you may not be able to view the selection screen. I.E. if your TV doesn't support NTSC, the PAL/NTSC selector would be rolling and in black and white, because your TV doesn't support NTSC. This isn't a problem, I force the game to NTSC with my Matrix Infinity and I can read the PAL/NTSC selector perfectly. It's not a big deal, if you can't view the selection screen, you just need to figure out what button is for NTSC and which button is for PAL. Once you figure that out, you should be able to view the game fine.

Its 50 for PAL and 60 for NTSC so it should be all good because he needs 60 for a NTSC TV which he has :)

Yeah I knew I should've double checked that. Thanks for correcting it. I always forget which is which. I noticed with my PAL games, the PAL/NTSC selector screen was still in PAL video mode (when I turned my modchip's screen fix off, it was rolling and in black and white). I believe that's the issue he has. I could only view it normally when I forced the game to NTSC. I believe that's the issue he's having, he can't clearly see the selector because it's in PAL mode still. After he figures out how to set it to NTSC, he should be fine.

Ah ok i understand now :) If i remember right the selector screen is the 1st screen you come too so if he pressed down and X am pretty sure that would get him into NTSC mode.
