i have been using these to back my ps2 games up and for some reason a few of the cant be burnt onto it says something like check condition and they are brand new

Im using Verbitams too but I never have any problems with them. What program are you trying to burn with etc. We need more details.

Post the media ID code (you can find this information from DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn on the right hand side after loading up the disc)

Also, try burning at a different speed.
