I've just bought some tdk dvd-r discs, but the problem is that dvd decrypter wont read them. I choose the correct destination, but nothing happens. Do I have to change some settings?

are you sure ur burner could do DVD-R? Cuz if you got one back when they first come out some only burns DVD-R and others dvd+r

Also, you mave a DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive. If that's the case, you and rip games to your HD but not burn them. What's the make and model of your DVD drive?

It's a Philips DVDRW416N DVD-/CD-ROM. I don't think it could do DVD-R.

is it a DVD_+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, or DVD+R/RW drive? If you can't find anything about it look on the front of the burner, it should have its info like a dvd-R/RW a DVD+R/W and a CD-R/RW.

Try updating your firmware. Your drive is an OEM NEC 1100. Be careful when updating your drive, a bad flash can destroy your burner. Follow the flash instructions exactly.
