I want to convert Fifa Street 2 Pal to NTSC

I have a fifa street 2 pal from torrent spy and i wanna convert it to NTSC and then patch it with that version 1.1 thing? how do i get it to go to NTSC and then it should work on mah modded ps2?

Try looking here for an up to date list on playing PAL games on an NTSC console.

That particular game has a PAL/NTSC selector, so you don't need to patch it.

To access the selector:
Press and hold (X + Triangle) right after the Playstation 2 screen appears when booting the game. A PAL/NTSC Selector will pop up on the screen.

okay but why did they create a patch for it then? the version 1.1 thing? cause when i downloaded it the first time and it was PAL then i used PAL2NTSC to convert it then when i played the game the screeen was black? i have a modded ps2 and its called Infinity 1.41 or something?

I guess they didn't know that it had a selector. Usually, a PAL/NTSC selector is accessible from the main menu, or it pops up before the game even starts.

This game is unique(as far as I know). You hold buttons when booting for the selector to pop up.

hi, are you sure there is only one version of fifa street 2? or maybe there could be a patched version with the option of the 50/60hz pop up selection? I downloaded this version: PS2DVD - Fifa Street 2 [PAL] [MULTI5] [100x100 Perfect ] [WwW.GamesTorrents.CoM], and I tried to do the X+Triangle at boot but nothing happens. So I'm thinking in using the
ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix program, but I need to know what Y-FIX offset should I use, I don't want to waste any more dvds (already wasted 3).

Thanks for any help.


PS: I have a NTSC PS2 with a mod chip (don't know what chip it is), is there any way I can see what chip I have without opening the PS2?

Swap Magic 3 can change the colour system (NTSC,PAL)
use video mode for those PAL game to ntsc(video mode to ntsc),
Press (SQUARE) although you can use X its advised that you use Square
