One of the options is to selec play to activate your player No problems playing. But back up source drive does not recognize the disc.or it says invalid path.Has anyone had that problem?Also the dvd43 and dvd fab I want to load for possible later use

DVDFab Decrypter Express (Free)----> http://dvdidle.com/free.htm

Do a google search for DVD43. You could probably rip that movie with DVDfab with no problems without DVD43, then use DVD Shrink on the output, and DVD Decrypter to burn it to a DVD disc.

Hi,

I have the same problem. When I use DVD Fab it comes up with "Get DVD information fail. 4100" Why is this?

Thanks

I use Win98SE and only DVD Shrink and a dual layer Multi burner and I had no trouble recording The Cave And Stealth on DVD-R's. I have Nero 6.0, but I don't use it for burning DVDs..

I hear quite a few people out there trash Win98SE on how bad it is for backing up and/or copying DVD's.. I have 2 systems and I've found I had a lot more grief using the XP machine then with the Win98SE machine (both machines are new).. Nothing wrong with Win98SE from where I sit..

Also, to my knowledge, that DVD43 is the XP version of the regular DVD Decrypter.. Which is why I downloaded it in the first place.. Before I learned about DVD Shrink, I used the DVD43 on the XP machine and the DVD Decrypter program on the Win98SE machine..

Respectfully...

These are two different programs. DVD43 is a driver that works in the background to break encryption, it, needs another program to rip i.e. DVD Shrink or Nero Recode. DVD Decrypter is a decrypting/ripping/burning program all on its own. DVD Decrypter will work on XP and Win 98, 2000 and ME.
